Unique Design Studio Receives 2009 Miami Award

U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement

WASHINGTON D.C., June 8, 2009 — Unique Design Studio has been selected for the 2009 Miami Award in the Photographers category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USCA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

We all come away from this experience profoundly changed . . . Here are parents who know their children have died or are going to die, they have opened their hearts to complete strangers, and they have taken the time to share their child with us, and you, the world. They share with us the joy of being parents, even knowing that joy was so fleeting. I have just seen your program, and wanted to say thank you for what you are doing. We lost our little Anna Grace at the age of 2 days. It was 24 years ago, and yet there are times that I can re-live those days as if it just happened. I wish I had this invaluable service you are offering back then. Fortunately, we did have some special nurses who took pictures before and after she died. Four old Polaroid’s in a baby book are worth more than I could tell you. You never forget… never. ~Terry
